Day Two: Let the Sunshine In!

Windows are such a wonderful thing. If attractive and properly installed, they let in fresh air, and bright, sunny light.

Our contractor has replaced our ill-fitting octagon bath window (which, because it never closed properly was particularly useful in the Winter) with a rectangular version from Andersen. With dual-sliding obscured glass and a proper screen, it’s a much better fit. And, it’s centered in the tub/shower. Small detail, but at least now we won’t feel like we’re on a ship when bathing.

We’re still debating whether to add shutters — seems to be too much “white” (siding, trim, window casements) now when viewing the front of the house.
